Mark Lawrence Bavis, age 31 of West Newton, MA, died tragically on September 11, 2001 as a passenger on United Airlines Flight 175 that crashed into the World Trade Center. He was a Scout for the Los Angeles Kings hockey team; played hockey at Boston University and was an assistant coach at Harvard and Brown before taking the job with the Kings.
